About

Premium hosting, built for engineers who care about the bill.

Vintony Host is a cloud provider for small teams who want production-grade infrastructure without the paperwork. NVMe-backed, API-first, priced honestly, and supported by the people who actually run the platform.

From the founder

Why I built Vintony Host

I spent twenty years running production infrastructure for other people — most of it spent fighting cloud bills that did not match the engineering value being delivered. I led the cloud team at a mid-size SaaS through three major migrations; two of them blew the budget. The third convinced me the problem was structural, not local: the major hosting providers had optimised for compliance check-boxes and add-on revenue rather than for the small team that wants to ship a feature on Friday and not get paged on Sunday.

Vintony Host is the answer I would have wanted as a customer. Four product surfaces, twelve regions, transparent pricing, support that reads logs, and a deliberate refusal to ship a 73rd SKU just because it would close a deal. If you have ever asked us 'why does this work this way?' on email — there is a good chance I was the engineer who wrote the answer.

Why we built this

The premise behind Vintony, in two paragraphs.

Most hosting companies were designed for a world where the bottleneck was the network and the customer was a webmaster. That world is gone. In 2026 the bottleneck is human attention, the customer is a small team of engineers, and the win condition is shipping code on Friday without paging someone on Sunday.

We picked four product surfaces — shared, VPS, managed cloud, and dedicated — because they cover 95% of what real teams need on day one. Object storage and managed databases sit alongside them on the same private network at zero egress cost. Domains are sold at registry cost. That is the entire catalogue, and we resist the urge to add a 73rd SKU.

What we stand for

Honest pricing, no asterisks

What you see on the pricing page is the bill. No introductory rates that triple at renewal, no $5 plans that grow add-ons. Annual saves 20%, full stop — and we will not ratchet it on existing customers.

Boring infrastructure

Every region runs the same image, the same orchestration plane, and the same on-call rotation. That homogeneity is what lets us promise sub-90-second provisioning across 12 regions without burning the team out keeping snowflakes alive.

Observable by default

Per-second metrics, structured logs, and alerts are wired into every plan — not a $99/mo add-on. If something is going wrong with your service, you should see it before we do.

Support that reads logs

First response under 12 minutes during business hours on Pro and above. The engineers who reply are the same ones who run the platform. No tiered gatekeepers.

Predictable, not exciting

We will not ship a 73rd compute SKU, a vendor-locked AI API, or anything labelled 'innovative DBMS'. Other companies do those well. We do four products and we do them carefully.

What we don't do

The shortest way to describe Vintony Host is by what we deliberately leave off the catalogue. We don't sell a 73rd compute SKU; we don't ship a vendor-locked AI API; we don't have a "platinum success consultant" tier that costs more than the infrastructure itself. We don't offer pricing that requires a spreadsheet to estimate, and we don't run loss-leading entry plans that triple at renewal.

There are good companies doing each of those things — and there is real demand for some of them. Our bet is that the customer who needs them is not our customer. Our customer is a small team that wants production-grade infrastructure to be unremarkable: provisioned in a minute, monitored without an add-on, priced honestly, supported by a human who reads logs.

How we hire

We hire engineers who have run production systems and answered support tickets — often in the same week. Tier-one support at Vintony Host is the same group that ships the orchestration code; there is no separate "frontline" silo whose job is to escalate. That structure scales worse than the traditional model, but it produces faster answers and better products. We accept the cost.

We're a remote-first team distributed across the UK, EU, and Asia, with deliberate timezone overlap so that incidents are never owned by a single sleepy person. If that sounds like the kind of place you'd thrive, email hello@vintonyhost.com with a sentence about what kind of work makes you happy and a link to anything you've built.

Commitments

We publish what we promise. See our SLA, security posture, and compliance reports for the details we can stand behind. Service credits for missed availability targets are applied automatically; we don't make you file a claim.

On environmental footprint: every Vintony region runs on data centres that source 100% renewable electricity, with PUE figures we publish on the security page. Software efficiency is a security and a sustainability issue — we don't run idle replicas to pad availability numbers.
