Fenwick Studio
An agency-tier WordPress fleet, 90+ client sites, one dashboard.
Fenwick Studio runs the engineering side of nine retainered brands and 90+ live WordPress installations. After three years of managing those sites across two competing managed-WordPress hosts, they consolidated everything onto Vintony's managed plans and reclaimed three hours a week of fleet management.

The problem
Managed WordPress hosting in 2026 looks great on a per-site landing page and miserable across a fleet of 90. Fenwick's previous hosts each had a different dashboard, a different staging convention, and a different process for rolling out a security patch across every site. Email plugins routinely got banned for hitting outbound limits, image-optimisation add-ons cost more than the hosting itself, and the agency was paying for unused entry-tier plans that auto-renewed because nobody could face the audit. "We had three separate billing portals open at all times," the studio lead said.
The migration
Vintony's agency motion was the right fit. The cutover ran in three batches over two weeks: low-traffic brochure sites first, then the higher-traffic retainer brands, then the e-commerce flagships. Each site moved to the same image: PHP 8.3, OPcache pre-warmed, Redis object cache, Nginx fastcgi. Fenwick's lead engineer wrote a 300-line migration playbook the day they signed up; it was unchanged by site 91. Staging was a click. Outbound email routed through Vintony's shared SMTP relay with proper SPF and DKIM, so the deliverability problem went away the same week. The agency's PM team picked up the Vintony dashboard inside an afternoon — they could see every brand's status, the most recent backup, and the open ticket count in one place.
“Cut our hosting bill in half versus AWS without losing the things we cared about. Snapshot, scale up, snapshot — done.”
What's next
Fenwick is rolling out white-label client dashboards next — every retainer brand will get a co-branded Vintony view restricted to their own sites. They are also piloting Vintony's object storage for the agency's growing video portfolio.
