Switching between monthly and annual billing
How the proration works and when to make the move.

Annual billing is 20% off the monthly rate. The switch can happen at any time; we prorate fairly in either direction.
Monthly → annual: at the moment of switch, we charge the annual amount minus credit for the unused portion of the current monthly cycle. The new annual term starts immediately and runs for 12 months.
Annual → monthly: we don't actively allow downgrading mid-term, because the math gets weird. At renewal time, you can switch to monthly with one click; the current annual term runs to its end.
Pricing on annual is locked for the term. If we raise prices during your annual year, you're not affected until renewal — and we always send at least 60 days' notice before any price change.
